Abstract

Objective: To observe clinical therapeutic effect of curosurf for respiratory distress syndromeof neonates (NRDS).Methods: Seventy two neonates with NRDS were divided into two groups. Thirty six received curosurf and thirty six didn`t received curosurf. All of the other supportive treatments were same in the both groups.The clinical effective rate, the death rate, the duration of mechanical ventilation, the pH、PaO2、PaCO2 of neonates after treatment and the severity of chest X-ray of neonates in the two groups were compared.Results:In the therapeutic group, the clinical effective rate and the death rate duration of mechanical ventilation were lower significantly than those in the control group.The pH、PaO2、PaCO2 of neonates in the treatment group were improved significantly after treatment(P0.05).The severity of NRDS on chest X-ray in therapeutic group was milder than that in control group.There were significant differences between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:The treatment with curosurf for neonates can improve therapeutic effect of NRDS.It is safe to use Curosurf for neonates.
