Abstract

Marriage of royal women with the non-Han border rulers in Han dynasty is a cross-nationalities marriage for a certain political purpose.These women are used to be thought miserable.However,It is a turning point for these women in their life.This marriage is not a tragedy but a comedy in terms of their family background,status and other things.These women taking on the political historical mission had alleviated the nationalities conflict and promoted the economic development and cultural exchange for both sides.They had contributed to the formation of the Chinese nation.
