Abstract
This article aimed at isolation and morphological identification of endophytic fungi from multiple sites of mangrove plants Sonneratia apetala,Sesuvium portulacastrum and Sesuvium portulacastrum from Jimei,Xiamen,and the antibacterial activities of isolated endophytic fungi were screened by the hypha cake method.The results showed that 25 strains endophytic fungi were isolated from the roots,stems and leaves of mangrove plants.They belonged to eight groups and were mainly on Alternaria and Aspergillus with accounting for 28.0% and 24.0% of the total strains,respectively.19 strains had inhibition effects on one tested bacterium at least,with accounting for 76% of the total strains.The results show that the endophytic fungi from mangrove plants are numerous,species-rich,and can produce antibacterial substances at the same time.They are important resources to study antibacterial active compounds.
