Abstract

Minqin is the focus of anti-desertification areas in China. In order to control sand harm,Haloxylon am-modendron were introduced from Xinjiang, and a large area of artificial Haloxylon ammodendron forests was construct-ed.Because of the environmental changes, the artificial Haloxylon ammodendron was seriously degenerated.Based on field investigation, the regeneration of artificial and natural Haloxylon ammodendron forests was surveyed. The results showed that natural regeneration of artificial Haloxylon ammodendron forests emerged, the seedling-growth showed ob-viously clustering characteristics but low seedling survival, the seedling growth and survival were inhibited.Compared spatial distributing pattern of natural Haloxylon ammodendron seedling-growth with artificial Haloxylon ammodendron, the distribution uniformity of artificial seedling was poor, and natural regeneration of artificial Haloxylon ammodendron required a certain period of time to adapt.
