Abstract
A pilot scale experiment has been carried out on enhancing treatment of municipal wastewater by flocculation. The experimental results show that inlet CODCr BOD5, SS, NH3 -N,T-P is 191.49 mg/L,67.06 mg/L,128.9 mg/L,19. 65 mg/L,2. 370 mg/L respectively, and outlet is 43. 23 mg/L, 12. 7 mg/L, 13. 09 mg/L,7.43 mg/L,0. 180 mg/L respectively. The total hydraulic residence time of wastewater is about 90 min. The quality of the effluent can meet the first - class effluent standards of municipal wastewater ( GB8979 - 1996 of state and DB4437 - 90 of Guangzhou).
