Analysis of irrational use of antibiotics of inpatient

Objective To investigate the clinical irrational use of antibiotics of inpatient.Methods 544 cases of inpatients who used the antibiotics since 2009 were randomly selected in our hospital and were analyzed statistically in respect to the irrational use of antibiotics by《the guideline for clinical use of antibacterials》.Results The rate of irrational use of antibiotics was 31.8% in our hospital which manifested mainly as irrational drug selection,high medication starting point,unreasonable dosage.Conclusion The irrational use of antibiotics is rather severe in our hospital.The hospital should take measures and stringthen supervision to improve the rational use of antibiotics.
