Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical effect of 8 tension band and circle wire in treating comminuted patella fracture . Methods From2003 to 2005,31 cases of comminuted fracture of patella were treated with 8 tension band and circle wire. Results All the cases were followed up.Accroding to Knee Joint Score standard,the excellent and good rate was 96.7%. Conclusion This method is effective for comminuted patella fracture,The fixation is reliable,the fragment of bone can be compressed better and the patients can limber up the knee joint earlier
