Abstract
A new method for the determination of mercury in tobacco material by microwave digestion-hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometry was studied.The sample was digested by microwave with HNO3-H2O2,and the sodium borohydride was used as the reducing agent.The mercury in samples was determined by hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometry.Under the optimal experimental conditions, the detection limit is 0.01μg/L in the linear range of 0.06—200μg/L with the relative standard deviation of 2.2%—2.9% and the recovery of 97%—104%.
