Study on the Current situation and Solutions of the Basketball Coach & player of the Universities in China

This paper studies the general situation,professional skill and training work of the professional basketball coaches of universities in China basing on the method of document ,mathematical statistics,question -investigation. The paper finds out that the average age of the professional basketball coaches of the universities in China is 35. 95. Most of them graduated from sports universities or teacher's traing school;most of them are teachers,they have hign professional titles and good educational background. However, some of them are lacking of experience in teaching,training and guiding. Moreover ,young coaches do not pay attention to the scientific reseach,they are not good at computer. Generally speaking,the basketball players in the universities are from high schools and sports high schools. Their body-condition and professional skill do not suit the formal basketball matches. Along with the development of CUBA, the body-condition and the professional skill of the basketball players in China are improving.
