An Enlightenment of Constructivism Teaching Theory on Adult English Training

Constructivism,put forward by Piaget,a philosopher and psychologist, was developed on the basis of behavioral psychology and cognitive psychology.Teaching concept of constructivism,directed by constructivism concept of knowledge and learning,advocates the teacher's roles of guide,insisting that learners can construct their meaningful understanding with their own experiences.Applying to characteristics of adult learning,anchored situational teaching could improve learners' comprehensive ability of language skills by cooperation between teacher and students and among students so as to form conditions for cultivating creative talents.
