Rural Teachers′ Continuing Education in Chongqing Experimental Zone: Developments,Problems and Solutions

Chongqing Municipality is committed to a comprehensive reform pilot of the national urban and rural education.With its emphasis on promoting the rural educational development plan as a whole,it must pay more attention to teachers′ professional development in rural areas.Rural teachers′ continuing education is a key.In recent years,Chongqing Experimental Zone has attached great importance to continuing education of rural teachers,putting the rural teacher team construction and rural education revitalization as the first,thus yielding obvious positive progress.This paper makes an in-depth analysis of developments and problems on rural teachers′ continuing education in the zone and puts forward some corresponding suggestions.
