Land Utilization Problems in the Course of Regional Urbanization:A Case Study of Changsha County

With the rapid development of urbanization,the contradiction between urbanization and land utilization is getting more and more obvious and tense.As an important administrative region,county plays a key role in combining urban and rural economic development.The relation between urbanization and land utilization in Changsha County is analysed,the existing problems about land use and urban expansion such as,the accelerated extension of urban scale,the inappropriately occupied cultivated land,the low land use efficiency and the exploitation level,the inappropriate of land structure,the serious land profusion,are studied.Some measures for solving the problems are suggested.1) Launch general land use planning;2) Evaluate land economic quality and utilization efficiency;3) Reinforce land management and perfecting land laws of town;4) Strengthen land management and cultivated land protection to promote dynamic balance in the total quantity.
