Abstract
A novel fiber reinforced composite with natural vegetable fiber(NVF) as reinforcer and plasticizied natural vegetable fiber as matrix was studied.By means of cyanoethylation and chlorination,wood sawdust was converted into thermoplastic material and then compounded with short sisal fibers.The all-natural fiber composite not only exhibits properties similar to those of conventional fiber composite,but also is cheap and friendly to environment.
