Abstract
Human beings have evolved with an antioxidant systems protecting them from oxidative damage. It includes superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),reduced glutathione(GSH),glutathione peroxidase(GPx),glutathione transferase(GST) and so on.They play a role in tumorigenesis and tumor progression. The relationship of cancer and the antioxidant system is reviewed in this article.
