Abstract
To avoid the complex calculation with propeller chart,a new modeling method for marine propeller was put forward. According to the new modeling method,propeller thrust and torque were calculated based on regression algorithm,and four quadrant simulations were realized. Combining with mathematical model of the ship-propeller,basic ship operations such as start,stop and emergency astern were simulated. The change curves of the revolution speed of the propeller,navigation speed of the ship and the torque of the ship under all kinds of working conditions were analyzed,which can give some operable suggestions and theory evidences for the practical operation of the ship.
