Abstract

Objective To study the relationship between hepatic function index and the perinatal-prognosis in ICP.(Methods )240 patients with ICP were studied retrospectively. (From April 1994-December 2004).(Results) The higher the serum levels of TBA,ALT and TBIL in patients with ICP, the higher incidence of fetal distress, premature labor, low weight birth and asphyxia neonatorum would occur (P0.01).However,there was no significant relation between the serum level of ALT and meconium-stained amniotic fluid(P0.05).Conclusion The hepatic function of the patients with ICP is a reliable index for monitoring perinatal-prognosis,therefore,this test is of great importance for protecting mother and fetus.
