The Comparison Research on Cache Consistency for Mobile Database

Caching is a classical technology for improving the performance of database access.It has been successfully applied in many aspects of computing technology.In mobile computing environment,because of the limitations of equipment and network resource,caching plays a more important role.For it can factually lower the requirements of bandwidth,reduce the cost of communication and save energy for mobile computers.Nevertheless,how to effectively maintain cache and ensure the consistency of cache,is being the focus yet difficulty for research.Focus on this problem,this paper will offer a study on various kinds of cache consistency maintenance techniques.
