Ideal Space:Thinking of Urban Development Targets

From perspective of geography and planning,taking Guangzhou as an example,the paper focused on the core points of urban development targets' transition,which could be generalized as the following six parts:scientific space to human space;space with face and without spirit to space with face and spirit;local citizens' space to all residents' space;highended cities with high-mark numbers to grass-rooted cities with much attention to commonpeople life;rigid space to flexible space;border and segmented space to harmonized and interactive space.Last,some enlightenment for China's current human geographical studies was put forward:(1) to pay more attention to reconstruction of basic concepts in the new times;(2) to give emphasis to microcosmic in-depth research;(3) to intensify multidisciplinary systematic and integrative studies.
