Mentioning again the Third-Stage Development of Confucianism:theFuture of Modern Confucianism's Construction

Although it's a consensus that Confucianism has undergone three stages of development,the achievement of the third stage is still a mystery.Generally speaking,the third stage should follow democracy and science but it's more complicated: on the spiritual level,it meets with the challenge of Christianity;on the system level,it carries on the modern system supported by democracy and science;on the level of daily life,it must respond to diverse cultures.The construction of modern Confucianism directed by explicit Confucian theory calls for the support from the construction of highly superb modern learning while the idealistic Confucianism is unable to accomplish the task of construction.The third-stage development can only be achieved by staying away from the defending of the theory,possessing broader vision in theory,handling properly the transformation of China's social politics and carrying out a spiritual reconstruction at the age of globalization.
