Abstract
To study deformation mechanism and deformation tendency of Baijiabao landslide,the model test is used to simulate deformation rules of Baijiabao landslide under combined action of rainfall and reservoir level.And the possible unstable failure feature of the landslide can be analyzed by inclining-load method.Then the motion feature after instability landslide is obtained.The results show that the deformation of the landslide is obvious in the condition of rapid drawdown;the leading edge is antecedent to the trailing edge;the slip velocity is more quickly;the volume of the landslide slip into the Yangtze River is large.After losing stability,the landslide has the dynamic conditions to be disaster.
