Abstract
The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique was used to determine virulent duck plague virus (DPV) in 100 day-old ducks infected artificially with DPV and infected naturally with DPV. The (result) (revealed) that after intramuscular injection the DPV DNA was found in liver, spleen, blood, excrement, lung, brain, leg muscle, kidney and thoracic muscle from the ducks infected artificially with DPV in the virus appearing time order and that the DPV DNA was found in liver, lung, blood, excrement, spleen, brain, leg muscle, thoracic muscle and kidney from the ducks infected naturally with DPV in the virus (appearing) time order.
