Abstract
The effects of Ni2+ in different concentration(0.5,1,5,10,50,100 mg/L) on seed germination and seedlings growth of wheat(Triticum aestivum L.) were investigated.The results showed that the lower Ni2+(≤5 mg/L)concentration could promote seed germination and seedling growth of wheat to a certain degree,whereas the higher Ni2+(10 mg/L)concentration inhibited wheat seed germination and seedling growth.The length and weight of root were inhibited by Ni2+ stress more than that of wheat seed.
