Abstract
In terms of the character of width,braid and bend of the Fengboqi shoal reach in the Chuanjiang River,authors analyzed the characteristic of the channel bed variation and the causes of navigation obstruction.Regulation projects have been taken to weaken the left bend channel and strengthen the shallow right channel as the low water-level navigation channel.Dredging was used to widen the channel,and regulating constructions were used to control river regime.Through these measurments,a stable right channel with bigger scale and flow discharge in the low water-level period was reached.Observation data show that the cross dam and guide wall in the front of the shoal is good for diversion,3m bathymetric line in the right channel went through after one year of regulation.
