Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of laminin receptor(LN-R)and human Factor Ⅷ-related antigen (FⅧ-RAg) in gastric carcinoma. Methods The LN-R expression and MVD were examined with immunohitochemical S-P methods in 68 cases of human gastric carcinoma tissues with LN-R and anti-human Factor Ⅷ-related antigen (FⅧ-RAg) antibody , and their significance was analyzed. Results The value of LN-R and MVD was related with differentiation level, depth of invasion ( P 0.01) and lymph node metastasis ( P 0.001). The expression of LN-R was related to the histologic types ( P 0.01), but MVD with relation to the histologic types of gastric carcinoma was not significant ( P 0.05). Conclusion These results suggest that higher expression of LN-R and FⅧ-RAg in gastric carcinoma were related with differentiation level, depth of invasion and metastasis. The expression of LN-R,FⅧ-RAg and MVD might be an important biological markers for predicting the degree of malignancy and prognosis of patient with gastric carcinoma.
