Abstract

Dragon Carving and the Literary Mind claims that the landscape scenery in which Qu Yuan grew up gives great help to his poetic creation.This is the so-calledHelp from Rivers and Mountains.The creation of poets of western Guangdong also benefits from such help.This is shown in the world-renowned Guilin scenery and western Guangdong scenery,and its unique customs such as language,clothing,life habits,and festivals,and also some characteristics of the local ethnic minorities.Help from Rivers and Mountainsgives a unique charm to the odes to western Guangdong.
