Abstract

To observe the effects of Parecoxib on postoperative analgesia in patients with thoracic surgery.75patients undergoing thoracic surgery under general anesthesia were randomly divided into three groups:Group A received 40mg Parecoxib sodium 20minutes before the surgery;Group B received 40mg Pareeoxib sodium before the end of the surgery;Group C was control group.Patients were assessed with respect to pain score(visual analog scale from 0-10),satisfaction score, and side effects at 2,6,12,24,and 48hafter surgery.Compared with Group C,group A and B had significantly lower VAS scores(P0.05).The satisfaction scores were higher in Group A and B than in Group C(P0.05).The side effects of drowsiness and so on in Group A and B were lower than Group C.The use of Parecoxib with sufentanil in postoperative analgesia resulted in comprehensive enhancement of the analgesic efficacy, reducing the opioid requirement and increasing patient satisfaction after thoracic surgery.
