Abstract
A new colour reagent has been synthesized and tested by infra-red spectrum. It reacts with cobalt to forms a red complex, the maximum absorption peak of the complex is at 510 nm and molar absorption coefficient is 1.6×10+4 L·mol+{-1}·cm+{-1} , Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0~25 μg Co(II)/25mL. The method is used for the determination of cobalt with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
