The Observation of Application of Somatostatin and Octreotide in Acute Pancreatitis Treatment

Objective To comparatively analysis the effect of somatostatin and octreotide in AP treatment.Methods 73 cases of AP comfirmed patients who were admitted into our hospital from Mar.2009 to Mar.2012 were selected as the object in this article,and then the hematuria amylase and therapeutic effect were observed before and after treatment.Results The increasing hematuria amylase level effect of octreotide was superior to somatostatin,the effective rate reached 86.84%,higher than octreotide which has a effective rate of 80.00%,and there was a statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of octreotide was superior to somatostatin,however,the difference between two drugs are not significant,both are appropriate forAP treatment.
