The Study to preventing shallow anterior chamber with adjusting satured selera flap in trabeculectomy

Objective The study was designed to approach the efficacy of preventing shallow anterior chamber in trabeculectomy with adjusting sutured sclera flap.Methods We randomly divided 60 cases(74 eyes)into two groups(GroupA,B),37 eyes in every group.In Group A,sutured sclera flap was adjusted in trabeculectomy.In Group B,sutured sclera flap was not adjusted in trabeculectomy,The postoperative incidence of shallow anterior chamber was observed.Results The occurrence rate of shallow anterior chamber of Group A was 5.4%,of the Group B was 48.64%.There are statistically significant difference between Group A and Group B.Conclusions The adjusting sutured sclera flap in trabeculectomy may reduce the occurrence rate of shallow anterior chamber.
