Abstract

EPON(ethernet passive optical network)being the best choice for optical access network,has both advantages of PON(passive optical network) and ethernet,with high bandwidth,low cost,convenient operation and easy upgrade.Based on the composition,technical characteristic and network advantage of EPON,the feasibility and application scheme of EPON are analyzed in communication network of power distribution automation.
