Abstract
In order to solve problems in incoming end of power communication networks,the paper introduces structural characteristics of ethernet passive optical network(EPON),analyzes application of EPON in smart grid,proposes grid interlinking scheme of EPON and presents principles that need to be abide by in application in distribution network communication.
