Abstract

At present IEC 61850 standard is an international standard for communication network and system of substation,and is the basis of the best solution for seamless communication of substation.The article describes the structure and function of automation system of Shanghai Expo pivotal substation,as well as the features of IEC 61850 based automation system of this substation.
