Abstract
In order to clarify the state of heavy metal pollution in the sediment of Dadong River, the contents of heavy metals in the sediment at different water levels are measured and the degrees of pollution and potential ecological risks of six kinds of heavy metals are also evaluated, including As,Zn,Cu,Cr,Pb and Cd.The results indicate that the contents of heavy metals in the sediment are infuenced by the level of water, and the contents at low water level are greater than that at high water level generally. The order of the analyzed heavy metals, arranged from highest to lowest pollution degree,is as follows: CdZnCuAsPbCr,and the sediment has been polluted seriously. The order of the potential ecological rick is: CdCuAsPbZnCr and only Cd has a high risk.
