Abstract

Objective Investigate the worth using of blood gases analysis in critical acid-base disturbance patients. Methods Aspirate 0.5ml artery gan su anticoagulat on and mix uniformly from 619 examples of hospital critcal patients and tested by the American i-STAT blood gases analysis apparatus. Results there were 8 types of acid-base disturbance in 597 patients occupying (96.45%) of a total of 619 patlents with critcal disease. The diffenent types of acid-base disturbance in 597patients ranked as following respiratory alkalosis (25.29%), respiratory alkalosis plus metabolic alkalosis(16.92%), respiratory acidosis(14.74%), metabolic acidosis (13.57%), resplratory acidosis plus metabolic alkalosis(10.5%), respiratory alkalosis plus metabolic acidosis (8.54%), metabolic alkalosis (6.03%), respiratory acidosis plus metabolic acidosis (4.36%), 356 cases (59.63%) had simple acid-base disturbance and 241 cases (40.37%) mixed. Conclusions Accordring to the investigated test results, it can make sure the types of acid-base disturbance the characteyistics and the judgment made on patients, Also, in order to dedicate the reliable of correct clinical rescue method.
