Abstract

The Paodaoling gold ore deposit, Guichi, Anhui Province is a porphyry type independent intrusion gold ore deposit first found in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and gold ore body is mainly hosted in very superfacial dacite porphyrite intrusion, which was formed in early Yanshanian period and no more tham 1 square kilometer and intruded in the Silurian clastic rocks. Mineralization occurs all over the intrusion and there is a gradual change between the ore body and wall rock. Ore-prospecting indicators include structure, lithology, alteration, geochemical anomaly, which are helpful to ore prospecting regionally.
