Effect of No.2 Kangxianling Decoction on Tubulointerstitial Injury in Chronic Kidney Disease

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of No.2 Kangxianling Decoction(No.2 decoction against renal tubulointerstitial fibrosis)on chronic kidney disease complicated by tubulointerstitial injury.Methods Fifty six patients were randomized into treatment group and control group,with 28cases in each.On the basis of basic treatment,the treatment group was given one dosage of No.2 Kangxianling Decoction twice daily and the control group was given 1.5g of Bailing Capsule (Cordyceps Capsule)once,three times daily.The treatment course lasted for 90days.The changes of Chinese syndrome scores,urineα1-microglobulin(α1-MG),β2-microglobulin(β2-MG),N-acetyl-β-D-glucosidase(NAG),retinol binding protein (RBP),24-hour urine protein(24hUPro)and renal function were observed before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 76.92%,which was superior to 57.69%of the control group(P0.05).No.2 Kangxianling Decoction could significantly reduce the scores of spleen-kidney qi(yang)deficiency with blood stasis syndrome(P 0.01).The excretions ofα1-MG,β2-MG and 24hUPro were significantly decreased in the treatment group(P0.01,P 0.05,P0.05).No.2 Kangxianling Decoction could significantly reduce cystatin-C and serum creatinine(P0.05).Conclu- sion No.2 Kangxianling Decoction can significantly relieve clinical symptoms,protect renal tubular and improve renal function for tubulointerstitial injury.
