Abstract
Objective:To study the effect of Taohechengqi Decoction on the renal function in rat model of glomerulosclerosis.Methods:The rat model of glomerulosclerosis was established from 5/6 nephrectomy.4 weeks later,these rats were randomly divided into the model group,the low dose group,the high dose group and the fosinopril group.After Taohechengqi Decotion and fosinopril was orally administered for 8 weeks,BUN and Scr in these groups were determined.Results:As compared with normal group,the BUN and Scr in the model group were significantly increased.There were some obvious reduces in these treatment groups and model group about those indices.Conclusion:Taohechengqi Decoction can improve the the renal function and suppress fibrosis development of rats.
