Abstract
In order to solve the difficulties using the method of multi-arch multi-beam distributed loads in dynamic analysis of arch dam, the writer has raised a method using multi-arch multi-beam displacement for dynamic analysis of arch dam. In the method an arch dam is dispersed many horizontal arch and vertical beam elements, then the element stiffness matrixes of arch one, beam one, base one are derived, the natural-vibration frequency of before nth order and modal vector of the arch dam are calculated using subspace iteration method, at last the dynamic load and stress of the arch dam from an earthquake can be calculated.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
