Abstract
With finite element method,the simulation analysis has carried out for RCC arch dam of Bailianya Hydropower Station.The calculating results are compared with those of multi-arch beam method and trial load method,pointing out advantages and disadvantages by using the finite element method to analyze the arch dam.That has provided certain reference for the finite element method applied in the design of arch dam.
