Abstract
Due to its wide rang of application,relative low cost and construction technology maturity,variable cross- section prestressed concrete continuous beam has become a common bridge type that was widely adopted in our country. The method adopted in design and construction of such kind of bridge has been briefly introduced by taking example of a large- span variable cross- section continuous beam bridge project.
