The Study on the Relationship Between the Serum Adiponectin and TNF-α and Insulin Resistance in the GDM Patients

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the relationship between serum adiponectin and TNF-α and insulin resistance in the GDM patients.Methods:Serum adiponectin and TNF-αconcentration was measured in 20 pregnant women and 12 gestational diabetes mellitus patients. Correlative analysis was carried out of the serum adiponectin with TNF-α and IR.Results:Serum adiponectin was significantly lower(P0.05) in gestational diabetes mellitus patients than that in control group.Serum TNF-α was significantly higher(P0.05) in gestational diabetes mellitus patients. Serum adiponectin was negatively correlated with TNF-α(P0.05).The serum TNF-αconcentration levels was positively correlated with IR(P0.05).Serum adiponectin was negatively correlated with IR(P0.05).Conclusion:The Serum adiponectin level advanced in gestational diabetes mellitus patients significantly.Serum TNF-α level decreased in gestational diabetes mellitus patients significantly. Serum adiponectin and TNF-α related to RI.
