Abstract

Objective: To explore the relationship between Alexithymia and Personality Disorder of students in senior high schools and colleges.Methods: 390 students were measured by questionnaire of Chinese translation of the 20-item Toronto Alexithymia Scale(TAS-20-C) and Personality Diagnostic Questionnaire(PDQ+4).Results: About 87% factors of TAS-20-C and PDQ+4 were sinificantly correlated(P≤0.05);Stepwise regression analysis showed that Personality Disorder and Alexithymia can predict each other significantly and positively(R2=0.261;0.257).Conclusion: Students' Alexithymia and Personality Disorder were significantly affected by each other.
