Abstract

Objective:To observe the cytokine in the serum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of Mycoplasma Pneumonia mice and the effect of clarithromycin treatment on cytokine production. Methods:The Kunming mice were randomized into three groups. The three groups were normal group, infection group, treatment group. After infection, clarithromycin treatment group were treated with clarithromycin for five days(6 g·kg-1·d-1).On the 8th day,the IL-6,IFN-γ and IL-5 levels were determined in the serum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of each group. Results:The IL-6,IFN-γ and IL-5 levels were increased in the Pneumonia Mycoplasma infected group.A decrease of IL-6,IFN-γ levels were observed in the clarithromycin treatment group, but had no effect on the IL-5.Conclusion:The IL-6,IFN-γ and IL-5 levels were increased in the Mycoplasma Pneumonia mice.Clarithromycin treatment had effect on Mycoplasma Pneumonia infection.
