Abstract
The WO3/ZrO2 solid superacid catalyst was prepared by using Zr(OH)4 as supporter with ultrasonic impregnation, phthalic anhydride and n-butyl alcohol with raw materials applied for the synthese of DBP(di-n-butyl phthalate) was studied. The effects of reaction conditions were discovered. The optimal conditions of synthesis of DBP by the WO3/ZrO2 solid superacid catalyst were: mole ratio of n-butyl alcohol to phthalic anhydride 3.0∶1,mass of catalyst for 2.0% of phthalic anhydride, reaction time 3 h and reaction temperature 150℃,esterification yield was above 95.60%,After treatment, its purity was 99.65%.The catalyst had high reaction activity, good repeatability. The replacement of H2SO4 with solid super acid in the synthesis of DBP was worth to popularize in industry.
