Abstract
The wavemaking of the hydrofoil is represented by the lifting line. The ship wavemaking incorporated with the hydrofoil is computed by 3-D Green function method in time domain.Wigley hull form with hydrofoil is employed as numerical example for the computation of mono-hull ship and catamaran. Some computed results are presented. The Series 60 hull form is also used as numerical example and the computed results are compared with published data. The ship wavemaking on the free surface is simulated in time domain.
