Abstract
Based on the investigated data of 40 sample plots in 16 typical communities in Ebinur Lake Wetlands Nature Reserve,we analyzed the correlation among the soil physicochemical properties by using correlation analysis;and probed the most important soil physiochemical properties that affect formation of different typical communities in Ebinur Lake wetlands nature reserve after using method of principal component analysis. The research results showed that: 1) There are great spatial differences in soil moisture content, west area is drier than east area;soil salinization is serious and alkalified is obvious, and vertical distribution of soil pH value has no obvious characteristics;the organic matter and total P content in soil are generally poor.2)There is a significant positive correlation between salt content and soil moisture content(R=0.584),while salt content is not obvious to P content(R=-0.108),indicating that there is tiny influence on ability of absorbing P from plants produced in salinization soil;organic matter has a significant positive correlation with salt content and soil moisture content, revealing that water and salt play an important role in decomposition and transformation of soil organic matter in the wetlands in arid areas.3) pH value is the most important soil physiochemical properties that affect formation of different typical communities in Ebinur Lake wetlands.
