Abstract

The results show that the soil texture of most samples are composed of silt and grit. The law of soil moisture content in the study area is that wetland around the lake the river-lake inletmouth of spring along the Aqiksu riverdesert.Soil salt is gathered in the surface of the soil.Solonchak and salinized soil develop around Ebinur lake and along the Aqiksu river. The pH value in north of the study area is higher than south, east higher than west.Quick-acting nitrogen content is the lowest in eastern of Ebinur lake,quick-acting potassium content is the lowest in southern and Quick-acting phosphorus is the lowest in northern. At the same time, the consistency can be found in vertical variation of nutrient content in different soil. There is a significant correlation between the soil organic matter content and the quick-acting nitrogen. The soil organic matter content along the Aqiksu river is higer than around the lake. There is a weak correlation between the soil organic matter content and the soil moisture content in Sacsaoul deseart.
