Abstract

In this paper, a mixed system with HNO3-H2O2as an oxidant was used in microwave digestion to determine mineral elements including B, Ba, Ca, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Mo, Na, Ni, P, S, Sr, Zn in cereals by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-AES). The accuracy and precision of method were evaluated with determination of national standard reference materials and repeatability under the experimental conditions. Satisfactory linearity of the standard curve was obtained, giving elemental correlation coefficients were over 0.999. The detection limits were in the range of 0.01~3.57 mg/kg, National standard reference materials determination results were in the range of standard value. The RSD% confirmed to the requirements of criterion on quality control of laboratories. The results show that the method has wide linear range, good stability and high accuracy. It is suitable for rapid determination of15 mineral elements including K, Ca, Mg, P, S, Cu, Fe, Zn, Mn, Sr, Ba, B, Na, Ni, Mo.
