Abstract
A method was established for the determination of copper, manganese, iron, zinc, potassium, sodium, magnesium and calcium in rice by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry(ICP-OES) after microwave digestion. The detection limits of the method varied from 0.9 to 12 μg/L, with a linear correlation coefficient(r) ≥ 0.999 65, a relative standard deviation(RSD) 5.0%, and the spike recovery rates were in the range from 96.7% to 104.3%. Wheat reference material was satisfactorily determined by the proposed method. Thus, this method is suitable for the determination of nutrient elements in rice.
