Abstract
Objective:To discuss the main potential factors controlling and influencing patients' medical expenses under the new rural cooperation of medical care system and provide theoretical basis for controlling the fast-growing hospitalization expenses.Methods:The authors of the paper take 49,395 cases of the new rural cooperation in a hospital of the third grade in Xuzhou City during 2007-2011 as samples and make empirical analysis on various items of expenses of the patients under the new rural cooperation by means of factor analysis.Results:The 3 key factors controlling hospitalization expenses are the relevant factors of drugs for nursing and diagnosis,of operation material expenses and test expenses.Conclusion:The expenses for drugs,materials and tests should be controlled in the first place in order to control excessive increase in medical expenses.
